Halford Big Sisters

Lucy is a senior at Castilleja. She leads Halford with Paula, Sahana and Antonia, and her passion for working with young girls has grown since she first joined the organization. She has worked as a TA at Peninsula Bridge for the past two summers and enjoyed getting to know all of the students. She speaks French fluently, and has been taking Spanish for seven years. Lucy is also a dedicated tennis player and a matcha enthusiast!
Sahana’s a senior at Castilleja, and excited about being a Halford big sister for her third year. She is thrilled to be leading this year with Paula, Lucy, and Antonia. Sahana is an avid equestrian and animal lover. In her free time, Sahana reads, watches crime shows, and bakes.
Paula is a senior at Castilleja. She leads Halford with Lucy, Sahana, and Antonia and is super excited to get to know more little sisters. This year, she is also co-leading the Latinx affinity group at Casti, and is looking forward to growing in her mentorship skills. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching TV, and going to the bookstore!
Antonia is a junior at Castilleja and is one of the Halford leads alongside Paula, Lucy, and Sahana. She is so happy to be a part of Halford and cannot wait to support and mentor the little sisters! She loves to dance, travel, watch tv, and spend time with her two brothers!
Kaley is a senior at castilleja. This is her first year as a Halford big sister and is excited to meet everyone. Kaley is a current co-lead for the Latinx affinity group, but when she isn’t in school loves dedicating her time to grabbing bagels with friends and napping with her cat, Tito!
Fernanda is a junior at Castilleja. Fernanda is very excited to be joining Halford for the first time. At Castilleja, she is part of the latinx community, and enjoys playing volleyball and soccer. Fernanda is very excited to do fun activities with the Halford little sisters. Fun fact: Fernanda is more than twice her little sister's age!
Naya is a sophomore at Castilleja. She is so excited to be a part of Halford this year and can’t wait to get to know the little sisters. Naya is an active member of student government, runs cross country, and plays basketball and lacrosse. Lately, her interests include travel to South American countries, watching the Great British Baking Show, playing with her dog Daisy, and scouting out the best places to get avocado toast.
Samira is a senior at Castilleja and this is her third year as a Halford big sister! She loved getting to know her little sisters last year and is even more excited this year to get to know them again! Samira does track and cross country and she is also part of the student government at Castilleja. In her free time, she loves watching TV with her family, hanging out with her friends, and reading Harry Potter which is her favorite book.
Natalie is a sophomore at Castilleja. She is super excited to join Halford, and be a big sister for the first time this year! Natalie enjoys running throughout the cross country and track seasons. Fun fact: Natalie latest obsession is finding fun ways to make smoothies and oatmeal.
Lauren is a junior at Castilleja and joined Halford by chance last year. It was a true blessing because she met the wonderful little sisters! She is a poet-activist and co-leads the Christian affinity group. In her spare time she feeds squirrels! Lauren loves the Great British Baking Show and spending time with friends and family.
Alexis is a senior at Castilleja. She has been a Halford big sister for the past three years as the program's robotics lead. She has also participated in the Castilleja robotics program since sixth grade. In her free time, Alexis loves baking, trying new restaurants, and going to the beach.
Alexa is a junior at Castilleja. This is her first year as a Halford big sister, and she is super excited to get to know all of the little sisters. She chose to do Halford because she spent the summer as a TA at Peninsula Bridge and had a great experience. In her free time, Alexa likes to dance, read, watch Netflix, and bake.
